My partner and I went tonight for dinner and were absolutely blown away!!! We got the orange chicken rice bowl and teriyaki chicken rice bowl, both amazing! Perfectly cooked chicken and flavorful sauce. We also got the crab rangoons (an absolute MUST) and the spicy edamame which was fun and refreshing. Lastly we got the Aly roll (cream cheese, avocado, shrimp tempura, spicy crab with eel sauce) and oh my gosh!!! My new go-to. The owners are so lovely as well and provided amazing service! Definitely give them a visit!!!

I had the miso soup, spicy edamame, fried rice, and dragon roll. Everything arrived quickly and tasted amazing. If we weren't from out of town, we would be here all the time for the spicy edamame alone!

We had a great meal last night at Teriyaki House in Springfield. I forgot to take pictures until we had all ready started eating but it still looks good. Wonderful flavors, nice portions and great prices. Family owned and operated by new owners since November. Try it out if you get a chance (family friendly restaurant as well). 1.Teriyaki Grill with Lo Mein 2 Aly's Roll 3. Orange Chicken Bowl

The staff is amazing! They were so nice and helpful! Everyone there was so friendly and cheerful. I got the steak teriyaki and Carrie got the chicken teriyaki bowl. We also ordered some sushi, the Rocky roll and some eel nigiri. Everything was delicious and brought out quickly. The eel specifically was perfect, tender and delicious! We will definitely be coming back!

This place is great, I've heard other people talk bad about it but I'm guessing it changed owners or something because we've been multiple times and had a bunch of things and never been disappointed. Sushi was great, general chicken and bourbon chicken are fantastic. Service is amazing!

I’ve tried to visit Teriyaki House for lunch a few times, but their hours were always a bit wonky and inconsistent. I don’t make it to that side of town for dinner often, so I was glad to finally stop in today for lunch—and it was a good experience. First off, the inside is much nicer than the 80s exterior suggests. The ambiance had a cool, modern vibe, with lowkey techno playing (probably some subgenre that fits the “I’m fancy but hip” aesthetic they’ve got going). It was quiet, just me and a couple of DoorDash drivers coming in and out. The waitress asked if I had been there before, and when I mentioned the past inconsistent hours, she told me the new owners have been much better about keeping the schedule steady. Definitely a good sign. The chef came out to introduce himself and asked if I wanted to try spicy edamame—I said sure. He then asked if I had ever had edamame before, and when the waitress also asked, I figured they must have had customers attempt to eat the pods whole before. It was good—slightly spicy, a little tangy, and a nice start to the meal. I expected to pay for it, but they actually gave it to me on the house, which was a nice surprise. For my meal, I ordered a seaweed salad and the unagi bowl. The seaweed salad was good and came with two chunks of (what I assume was imitation) crab. The unagi bowl was simple but solid—four strips of eel on top of a piece of lettuce, with a fancy-cut carrot garnish and a drizzle of that classic eel BBQ sauce. Nothing over-the-top, but tasty, and the whole meal felt healthy and fairly inexpensive at 19 plus tip. Overall, I had a positive experience. The food was good, the staff was nice, and the new ownership seems to have figured out the consistency issues. If you’ve been put off by their past scheduling weirdness, it might be worth giving them another shot!
